Austin Titus, the designer for August Nine, has been making jewelry in one form or another for as long as she can remember, so it seemed natural for her to pursue a career in metal-smithing and jewelry making. Austin personally makes each piece of jewelry in the August Nine collection using an array of semi precious stones, selected for color, character and sometimes even imperfections. Her work embodies all that inspires her- sweeping lines, rich colors and sensual textures- yet always tempered with the desire to strike balance and harmony between these elements.
